Dear business partners,
We would like to inform you that, due to the modernisation of the railway network in Slovenia, major works are planned that will have a negative impact on freight transport.
As part of these major works, there will be a complete interruption of train traffic during the periods listed below:
Ljubljana station – complete interruption of train traffic during period 6.2.2026 from 23:00 to 9.2.2026 until 04:00
Ljubljana station – complete suspension of train traffic during period 6.3.2026 from 23:00 to 9.3.2026 until 04:00
Ljubljana station – complete suspension of train traffic during period 3.4.2026 from 23:00 to 6.4.2026 until 04:00
During the above periods, it will not be possible to receive and dispatch trains that pass through Ljubljana station. The greatest impact will be on trains in transit to Italy and vice versa, and on trains from and to Koper.
Similarly, one day before and after the closure, it will not be possible to accept adhoc trains.
We kindly ask for your understanding of the situation and, in accordance with this notice, we ask you to not plan or announce trains during the aforementioned periods, as they will not be accepted or scheduled.
